Overall, lesson attendance is up, grades are up, skills are up, participation is up, quality of ensemble performance is way up. But there are a few students - some who have made real progress in the 3rd quarter - who missed a bunch of lessons at the beginning of the quarter. Even though they've been participating well and have completed their SmartMusic assignments, they are still on the low end of grades. So I told them today, make me an offer I can't refuse... you come up with how you are going to get extra credit and make up points in the next 10 days. I've already had a couple of good offers.
